An attorney appearing for a party in a case shall file a Notice
of Appearance with the attorney's name, office address, and telephone
number, unless the attorney's appearance is otherwise noted in
the record.
When a creditor/party is just requesting notices in a case,
refer to instructions for Creditor
Notice of Appearance and Request for Notices.
Step-by-Step
Procedure:
Log into CM/ECF.
Select [Bankruptcy
> Misc/Other] or
[Bankruptcy>Notices]
Enter
the case number (e.g., xx-xxxxx).
Select [Notice
of Appearance and Request for Notice] from the event
list.
Select
the party filer. If the party is not listed, click on
.
Note: The
may appear.
If your party selection was correct, check the box to create
an association.
Does this Notice include certificate of service?
Insert "y or n".
Browse
to select the Notice of Appearance (PDF file).
Add attorney or creditor by typing name in
the box and change
Creditor type to: "Notice of Appearance".

Modify docket text as appropriate.Verify the
final docket text; if correct, click [Next]
to submit your document(s).
Note: The displays, giving you the document
number. Copies of this notice are immediately emailed to all
participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
