Application to Pay Filing Fees in Installments

Note:  Pursuant to ND Local Rule 5005-1(F), electronic filers must pay any incurred filing fees, including installment payments, through the CM/ECF system.

Note: A corporation is not allowed to pay the filing fees in installments.

Note:
 Filing fees paid directly by a debtor(s) must be in the form of cash, cashier's check or money order.  No personal checks, credit cards or debit cards are accepted from the debtor(s), unless paying via pay.gov (debit card only).

Note:  Application must be filed separately if attorney is using case upload.

Filing Requirements:

  • Application to Pay Filing Fee in Installments (Official Form B103A).

  • No proposed order necessary.

Step-by-Step Procedures:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy >  Motions/Applications].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g., xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Pay Filing Fees in Installments] from the event list.

  5. Select the party filer.

  6. Browse to select the application (PDF file).

  7.  Modify docket text if appropriate.

  8. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays, giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
