Assigning a Judge and Trustee
(Chapter 7 and 13 only)

Note: If you are filing several Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases on the same day, it is suggested that you open all cases and then run the Judge/Trustee Assignment. The possibility of getting the same 341 meeting time for Chapters 7 or Chapters 13 is greater. Please note that Judge/Trustee Assignment should be run the same day as the case is filed.

• You would not use Judge/Trustee Assignment for Chapter 12 or 11.

• All 341 Meetings are held by video/telephone conference. Contact Trustee for directions.

Step-by-Step Procedures:

1. Select Bankruptcy.

2. Select Judge/Trustee Assignment.

3. You will receive a message that case needs quality control review.  

4. If you receive a different error message, please contact the Clerk's Office immediately at 701-297-7100.
