Withdrawal of Document (Text entry only)

Filing requirements:

  • Withdrawal of Document (text entry only)

    Note:  When withdrawing only a portion of previously filed documents, type the title of each document being withdrawn in the docket text. See example provided below.

    Note:  The electronic filer will be responsible for providing all parties that are nonelectronic filers with notice of the text entry withdrawal and a certificate of service is also to be filed.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy >  Misc/Other].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g., xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Withdrawal of Document (Text entry only)] from the event list.

  5. Select the party filer.

  6. Select or De-select party association if applicable.

  7. You must Refer to the document being withdrawn.

  8. Modify docket text if appropriate.

  9. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays, giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
