Note: The preferred method of filing documents is one PDF with ALL attachments.
Use this method ONLY to attach all documents to one docket entry if document size
is too large. The proposed order is not electronically filed, but must always be emailed
in a Word format to: proposed_orders@ndb.uscourts.gov. Please insert the case
number and last name of debtor(s) in subject line.

  1. Click on the Browse button to search your network and select from those files.

    Note: Remember documents must be in PDF format.

  2. To make certain that you are about to associate the correct PDF file for this entry,
    right-click on the file name with your mouse and select [Open]. This will launch
    Adobe Acrobat Reader to display the contents of the imaged document. Verify
    that the document is correct. Close or minimize the Adobe application and if that
    is the correct file, click Open on the File Upload dialogue box.

  3. If your filing does not have attachments, click [Next] to continue.

    Note
    : When filing a Motion, the Motion with supporting documents if any, Notice of
    Motion, and Proof of Service may be a single PDF. The Motion MUST be the first
    document in your PDF.

  4. If your filing has attachment(s), e.g., financing papers, exhibits, supporting
    documents, etc., click [Yes] for "Attachments to Document." Click [Next]
    to see the attachments screen.

    • Click on the Browse button to search for your network directory where
      the .PDF file is saved, and select from those files. To make certain that
      you are about to associate the correct PDF for this entry, highlight
      the document name, then right-click on the file name with your mouse
      and select [Open]. This will launch Adobe Acrobat Reader to display the
      contents of the imaged document. Verify that the document is correct
      and looks complete. Close or minimize the Adobe application and if that
      is the correct file, click [Open] on the File Upload dialogue box.

    • If your filing has more attachments, first continue labeling each attachment
      following the instructions below:

      • At your option, select a document category or type in a short
        description. If you press the down arrow to the right of the
        Category box, you see a list of available attachment types.
        Select the one you want by highlighting it or type a short
        description of your attachment.

      • Add the attachment you have entered to this list by clicking
        the [Add to List button]. If you have more attachments,
        go back to Step 1. Continue until all your attachments are
        on this list.
