Filing Requirements:
● Simplified
Application for Compensation and Reimbursement of Expenses by
Attorney for Debtor in Chapter 13 Case. (Refer
to Local Rules)

● Attach
fee itemization.
● Notice
of Application with 21 day objection period.
Note: Service on

required if amount requested is over

application must be the
first document in your PDF. The Proof of Service may be included).

Step-by-Step
Procedures:
Log
into CM/ECF.
Select [Bankruptcy
> Motions/Applications].
Enter
the case number (e.g., xx-xxxxx).
Select [Compensation]
from the event list.
Select the party filer (party receiving the
fees). If the party is not listed, click on .
Note: The
screen may appear. Do not check this box to create an association.
Enter a "y or n" if the notice and
proof of service are included with the Application.
Note: The application,
notice, and proof of service may be a single PDF. The Application
must be the first
document in your PDF.
Enter date served.
Accept objection date.
to select the application
(PDF file).
** Checkmark the filer box (party receiving
the fees);
** Select the Type from drop-down menu;
** Enter dates
from when to when if interim fees; and
** Enter total fees and expenses requested (i.e., 4000.00 and 125.00, not the balance owed if received
retainer/deposit payment).
Modify docket text if appropriate.
Verify the final docket text; if correct,
click [Next] to submit
your document(s).
Note: The displays,
giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are
immediately emailed to all participants who receive electronic
notification in the case.
