Trustee's Appointment
Rejection

Periodically,
a Trustee will reject a case by electronically filing an Appointment
Rejection (this must be filed 7 days of case
filing; otherwise Trustee should file Trustee's Resignation). Note: This is a
text entry...no document is required.

Log
into CM/ECF.
Select [Bankruptcy > Trustee/U.S. Trustee
].
Enter
the case number (e.g., xx-xxxxx).
Select [Appointment Rejection] from
the event list.
Select
yourself (trustee) as the party filer.
Select the trustee
to be removed from case.
Verify
the final docket text; if correct, click [Next]
to submit your filing.
Note: The displays,
giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are
immediately emailed to all participants who receive electronic
notification in the case.
