Filing requirements:

  • Withdrawal of Claim

  • Proof of Service may be a single PDF or filed as a separate document.

    Note:
    The Withdrawal of Claim must be the first document in your PDF.

Step-by-Step Procedure:
To File Electronically:

  1. Review the papers for the necessary filing and noticing requirements

  2. Scan documents.

  3. Log into CM/ECF.

  4. Select [Bankruptcy]

  5. Select [Claims Actions].

  6. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

  7. Select [Withdrawal of Claim] from the event list.

  8. Skip the Joint Filing screen. Court will select the attorney filer.

  9. Select the party filer.  If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.

    Note:  If you are an attorney, the Attorney/Party Association screen may appear. If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association.

  10. Browse to select the Withdrawal (.PDF file).

    Note:  The Proof of Service may be added as an attachment to this document.

  11. Select from list Proof of Claim being withdrawn.

  12. Enter status [Withdraw].

  13. Modify the text as appropriate.

  14. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.

  15. The withdrawal document will be automatically attached to the claim you selected in the Claims Register.
