On September 13, 2018, the Judicial Conference approved proposed amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. The proposed amendments were transmitted to the Supreme Court on October 24, 2018.   The Supreme Court adopted these proposed amendments and transmitted them to Congress on April 25, 2019, and they will take effect on December 1, 2019, absent congressional intervention.  A summary of the amendments, including changes to local rules and procedures, may be found here.
