Obtaining Copies of Electronic Documents in Cases filed Prior to December 1, 2003
Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) access is restricted for all electronic documents filed in bankruptcy cases or bankruptcy appeals prior to December 1, 2003. A message is displayed for PACER users when attempting to access a restricted document: "This document is not available for public viewing."
Docket sheet and docket information are available to the general public via PACER.
Any party that has filed a notice of appearance in an individual case will have CM/ECF access to all filings in that case.
All electronic documents filed in cases will remain accessible at the clerks’ offices, except those under seal.
All electronic documents filed in bankruptcy cases, including documents filed in cases prior to December 1, 2003, are available for viewing on the court’s public terminal located in the clerk’s office. Documents may be printed from the public terminal at a cost of $0.10 per page.
The clerk’s office also provides copy service of electronic documents filed in bankruptcy cases, including documents filed in cases prior to December 1, 2003, at a pre-paid cost of $.50 per page. Copies of restricted documents cannot be emailed to the requesting individual.
