Zoom Instructions
What You Will Need:
- Computer (desktop, laptop or Surface) with Zoom application installed.
- Camera (integrated webcam or separate camera connected to the device).
- High-speed internet connection.
- Telephone if connecting telephonically (mobile or landline).
Connecting to Zoom for the first time:
- Download and install the Zoom application on your device. (Although Zoom can be used in a browser, it has limited functionality.)
- If you do not have a Zoom account, select the option to join as a guest.
- Enter your screen name and email address.
- Select continue.
Join a hearing using Zoom:
- Launch the Zoom Meeting app on your computer and select 'Join a meeting'.
- Enter the Meeting ID (161 2190 7752).
- Click on 'Join'. The meeting PIN is '529952'.
- You will be connected to 'NDB's Personal Meeting Room'.
- You will be placed in a waiting room. The court can see you are there and will let you into the hearing when your case is called.
- Once admitted by the court, choose 'Join Audio with WiFi' or 'Connect with Computer Audio' depending on your device.
- That's it! You are now ready to address the court.
Calling into the Hearing with a Telephone:
If the court grants you a telephonic appearance, you may join the hearing using the following numbers:

Tips for Video Conference Hearings:
The court is recording the hearing to create a record. Please use the following tips ensure a complete and accurate record:
- Minimize background noise and distractions.
- Speak slowly and clearly.
- Do not interrupt other participants. The court will provide everyone who wants to be heard an opportunity to speak.
- Zoom interactions (chat, screen share, reactions, etc.) may be disabled during the hearing. You must verbalize statements, requests and questions for the record.
