Updates to Local Rules and New Text-only Motions

The United States Bankruptcy District of North Dakota announces these updates:

  • D.N.D. Bankr. L.R. 9013-2, Corporate Ownership Statements, is adopted effective April 3, 2023.  The new local rule reads as follows:

CORPORATE OWNERSHIP STATEMENTS

The requirements of Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7007.1 apply to a nongovernmental corporation, as defined by section 101(9), that requests relief. The nongovernmental corporation must file the corporate ownership statement with its first pleading, motion, response, or other request for relief addressed to the court.
  • The following text only motions are now available:
  • motion to cancel final pretrial conference and/or trial - stipulated (text entry only)
  • motion to cancel hearing on contested matter - stipulated (text entry only)
  • motion to limit notice and waive solicitation of acceptances or rejections of amended plan (text entry only)
