Limited Filing User

An individual authorized by a creditor or company may register as a limited filing user.

To apply for limited filing user access:

  1. Register for a PACER account at https://pacer.uscourts.gov. If you already have a PACER account go to step 2.
     
  2. On the PACER home page, click on “Manage Your Account” and then “Log in to Manage My Account”.  After you are logged in, select the Maintenance tab, and then click the Non-Attorney E-File Registration link.  Complete the registration form.  (For role in court, select Creditor.) You do not need to enter credit card information. If you do it will be the default card to pay filing fees.
     
  3. Your request will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation of approval through PACER.
     
  4. Review the local rules and refer to the ECF User's Manual for procedural information.
